This tasting will help further your knowledge of one of the world’s most classic wine regions. Burgundy produces some of France’s most prestigious, elegant and long-lived wines. Inkpots & Acorns Writers’ Retreat
Launching Inkpots & Acorns’ very first daytime Writers’ Retreat, including a workshop on “How to create characters that are out of your control” with seasoned television and film screenwriter and showrunner, David Freedman.
Kickstarting the day, David will set us up with a morning’s masterclass on how to get those characters we love so much to take charge of their own destiny. To surprise us, to take us on their journey, and to behave badly, without our permission!
This will be followed with an afternoon of goal setting, break-out sessions for those who would like the chance to brainstorm, and most importantly, dedicated writing time.

We are delighted to welcome back Chapel Down - England’s leading wine producer - to LIME TREE WORK SHOP. Based in Kent, in the heart of the Garden of England, they produce wines of the highest quality.
The evening begins with a welcome Chapel Down Bacchus Gin and Fever-Tree Tonic, followed by a masterclass sampling a range of four award winning still and sparkling wines under the expert guidance of Chapel Down's Tom Bexton.

It always makes for an interesting evening to contrast some of the classic grape varieties grown in different parts of the world. Learn about why there are similarities and differences between the same grape variety grown in different countries and enjoy some delicious wines along the way. Each pair of wines will be presented blind and their identities revealed as we progress throughout the tasting. Fun and informative!
