Italy is one of the more complex wine regions of the world, with a plethora of indigenous grape varieties to taste. 

Following our introduction to Italian wines in 2023, we are going to delve deeper into more specific areas of the country, starting with the North. 

Producing wines such as Barolo, Barbera, Gavi, Amarone, Valpolicella, Soave and some very fine Pinot Gris, the cooler, northern section of Italy has many contrasting styles to offer.
