If you’re expecting a new grandchild into the family or recently welcomed a new addition, our "Grantenatal" class is a great way for expectant grandparents to refresh their wisdom and get up to date knowledge on what’s changed since their own babies were born. Two hours first aid training included.
This workshop will focus on preparing grandparents with up to date knowledge around babies: whether it be birth, feeding, sleeping, or just caring. We include a comprehensive 2 hour paediatric first aid session which will give you confidence to know what actions to take if faced with a medical emergency.
Are they spoiling the baby by picking him up? Why is my son wearing a sling thing? What’s “safe sleep”? And where’s the talcum powder gone? To answer all these questions and many more, join experienced midwives and first aid instructor for this grandparent refresher course for grandparents-to-be and new grandparents.
