If you’re expecting a new grandchild into the family or recently welcomed a new addition, our "Grantenatal" class is a great way for expectant grandparents to refresh their wisdom and get up to date, evidence-based knowledge on what’s changed since their own babies were born.
This workshop will focus on preparing grandparent’s with the latest research around babies: whether it be birth, feeding, sleeping, or just caring. We include a comprehensive 2 hour paediatric first aid session which will give you confidence to know what actions to take if faced with a medical emergency.
Are they spoiling the baby by picking him up? Why is my son wearing a papoose thing? What’s “safe sleep”? And where’s the talcum powder gone? To answer all these baffling questions and many more, join our experienced midwives and first aid instructor for this grandparent refresher course for grandparents-to-be and new grandparents.
