This evening will provide a great contrast between two key French wine-producing regions, each benefiting from very different terroirs.
We’ll be exploring the 3 key grapes of the Loire: irresistibly refreshing, racy Sauvignon Blanc from villages such as Sancerre & Pouilly Fumé, crisp and mineral Chenin Blanc and bracing Cabernet Francs brimming with blackcurrant and raspberry-fruit character.
We will contrast these styles with the richer, more robust wines of the Rhône Valley where Syrah and Grenache grapes feature for reds and whites are produced from, among others, the characterful Viognier, Roussanne and Marsanne grapes.
Served with some delicious Loire and Rhône inspired food pairings.
£49pp, includes 8-9 wines and food pairings
