Animate a short animated film on this exciting two day course hosted by Andy Symanowski, Andy has over 20 years experience of animating, writing and directing at Aardman Studios with his credits including Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Chicken Run and many other tv series and commercials as well as a wealth of lecturing experience in animation. Andy will guide you through the animation film making process.

Over the two days you will discover the magic of stop- motion animation in our fun, practical workshop. You can let your imagination run wild as you write, storyboard, model make and bring your creations to life as you animate a short film within a small crew.

On day one you will discover the secrets behind this unique artform learn about the basics of stop-motion animation, as well as the technical aspects of setting up the cameras and using the animation laptops, you will then start to develop your film ideas.

On day two you will be able to unleash your creativity as you develop your ideas before storyboarding, model making and animating your films.

All equipment and materials are provided, you just need to bring lots of ideas and a packed lunch.

Suitable for ages 10 - 16 years (similar ages will be grouped together).
